Kristine Holly LaCourte

My full name is Kristine Holly LaCourte. Science is my passion but I have a unique ability to tame wild children, hence my decision to be a science teacher. Biologically I have a twin sister named Regina, but were opposites in every sense of the word. While I take passion in learning and can spend hours doing homework, she tends to "take the express route" in anything even remotely dealing with school. Then theres my mom, who in simplier words, is just like any other traditional mother. Well back to me, I love art. I can draw very well but my best pieces are my paintings. For my highschool I needed to paint a person and I chose my neighbors four year old daughter, Meghan. When i finished, my other neighbors were so impressed they gave me pictures of their grandchildren and offered me $200 to paint them. It's not just drawing or painting that I enjoy though, on my night stand you wont find a book or even a magazine but instead a childrens coloring book. My sister still picks on me about it but I love to color. Thats not the only thing I get picked on about. Everyone I know says that I mumble. Sometimes my family can't even understand me when I talk too fast. My boyfriend, Pat who's away at college, doesn't like to talk to me on the phone because he says he cant understand me. Weve resorted to instant messaging. I'm a good sport about it though. I know that I mumble and laugh when someone brings it up. I have very few pet peeves but the ones that I do have are unique. I cant stand it when someone repeats themselves when I'm talking to them. If were deep in conversation and I just heard you, don't keep saying the same thing over and over. Another one of my "unique" pet peeves is when someone wears a denim jacket that doesn't match their jean pants. Seems stupid but urks me. Thats me in a nut shell :)
